GigNet selected Tejas Networks to enhance its networking system. GigNet is a top digital infrastructure company situated in Mexico.
Tejas Networks recently publicized that it will be providing optical networking and broadband access products to GigNet’s state-of-the-art, high-capacity fiber-optic network expansion in the Cancun region of Mexico.
GigNet offers a digital services portfolio of fiber-to-the-home, internet, Wi-Fi, and other enhanced solutions for Mexico’s generosity and enterprise consumers.
What will Tejas Networks supply to GigNet?
To support a rapid expansion of GigNet’s ‘Smart Communities’ business segment for planned development across the region, Tejas Networks will supply a complete range of last-mile access products based on GPON/NG-PON fiber broadband technology, terabit-scale optical backbone products based on OTN/DWDM technology, and ultra-converged packet aggregation products based on MPLS-TP/PTN technology. All these products will be centrally managed by a universal SDN-ready network management system (NMS).
